| Disruption of the endometrial barrier after gestation leads to devastating effects on the cow's reproductive system. However, the accumulating immune responses help repair and defend the endometrium against microbial infections. Nevertheless, excessive inflammation could lead to chronic inflammation and consequently result in reproductive issues. The administration of NSAIDs can reduce the harmful effects of excessive inflammation, modulate the immune response, and improve reproductive indices in postpartum dairy cows. The aim of this study is to evaluate the side effects of NSAID administration on humoral immune responses, which could potentially inform the development of more effective treatment strategies for postpartum Hostein cows. The study involved a total of 60 apparently healthy cows, which were divided into three groups: flunixin meglumine, meloxicam, and control. The test groups were treated at 3 and 8 days after calving. To assess the humoral immune responses, the IgG and IgM titers against Escherichia coli and Trueperella pyogenes, were determined on Day 4,9 and 15 after gestations. The results of the study showed that the drugs did not significantly affect the total specific and nonspecific antibody levels against tested pathogens. A time-dependent decrease and increase in the levels of IgM and IgG antibodies against E. coli and T. pyogenes were observed in all groups. The results showed a reduction in IgM and IgG titers against both pathogens after treatment with meloxicam and flunixin respectively. However, the elevation of IgG and IgM titers indicated that the treatment affected antibody isotype switching rather than suppressing the humoral immune responses. | ||

| اختلال در سد اندومتر بعد از آبستنی، منجر به اثرات مخرب بر دستگاه تولیدمثل دام میشود. با این حال، وقوع پاسخهای ایمنی به بازسازی و دفاع اندومتر در برابر عفونتهای میکروبی کمک میکند. با این وجود، التهاب بیش از حد میتواند منجر به التهاب مزمن و متعاقباً مشکلات تولیدمثلی شود. تجویز NSAIDها میتواند اثرات مخرب التهاب بیش از حد را کاهش داده، پاسخ ایمنی را معتدل کرده و شاخصهای تولیدمثلی در گاوهای شیری تازهزا را بهبود بخشد. هدف از این مطالعه، ارزیابی اثرات جانبی تجویز NSAID بر پاسخهای ایمنی هومورال است که بهطور بالقوه میتواند به توسعه برنامههای درمانی مؤثرتر برای گاوهای شیری تازهزا کمک کند. این مطالعه شامل 60 گاو بهظاهر سالم بود که به 3 گروه فلونکسین مگلومین، ملوکسیکام و کنترل تقسیم شدند. گروههای درمانی در روزهای 3 و 8 بعد از زایمان، درمان شدند. برای ارزیابی پاسخهای ایمنی هومورال، تیترهای IgG و IgM بر علیه E. coli و T. pyogenes در روزهای 4، 9 و 15پس از زایش سنجیده شدند. نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد که داروها، اثر معناداری بر روی میزان آنتیبادی غیراختصاصی و اختصاصی تام بر علیه پاتوژنهای مورد بررسی، نداشتند. یک کاهش و افزایش وابسته به زمان در سطح آنتیبادیهای IgM و IgG بر علیه E. coli و T. pyogenes در همه گروهها مشاهده شد. نتایج نشاندهنده کاهش در سطح IgM در گروه ملوکسیکام و IgG در گروه فلونکسین بر علیه هر 2 پاتوژن بعد از درمان بود. به هر حال، افزایش تیترهای IgG و IgM نشان داد که درمان به جای سرکوب پاسخهای ایمنی هومورال، بر تغییر ایزوتیپ آنتیبادی اثر میگذارد | ||
