Morphological study of populations of the genus Dracocephalum to determine the limits of D. kotschyi complex in Iran | ||

| Dracocephalum L. (Lamiaceae) contains 10 species in the Flora of Iran. A morphometric analysis based on morphological data was conducted to determine the circumscription of the species complex of D. kotschyi. Morphological characteristics of 13 populations of D. kotschyi, three populations of D. oligadenium, two populations of D. ghahremanii and D. lindbergii, and one population of D. moldavica and D. subcapitatum were examined in 35 quantitative and qualitative traits. To identify the most variable traits among the studied species, factor analysis was performed, revealing that, traits such as the ratio of leaf length to width at the basal leaves, apical and middle leaf shape, presence of hairs on leaves and bracts, and corolla color had the greatest positive impact on species separation. By using Ward's method for cluster analysis, three main clusters were identified in the resulting dendrogram. The first cluster included D. moldavica, which was clearly separated from other species. The second cluster comprised various populations of D. kotschyi (a2) and its closely related species, namely, D. subcapitatum and D. ghahremanii (b2). In this cluster, the distinction of D. ghahremanii from other populations of D. kotschyi and its proximity to D. subcapitatum was confirmed. The third cluster included populations of D. lindbergii (a3) and populations of D. oligadenium, which according to the cluster analysis of morphological traits, were distinguished from D. kotschyi and recognized as an independent species i.e., D. oligadenium. The number of species in Dracocephalum in Iran has therefore, increased to 11. | ||

| جنس بادرنجبویه (Dracocephalum) متعلق به نعنائیان دارای 10 گونه در فلور ایران است. در این تحقیق، مطالعه مورفومتری براساس دادههای ریختشناسی به منظور تعیین حدود گونههای کمپلکس بادرنجبویه دنایی (D. kotschyi) انجام شد. ویژگیهای ریختشناختی 13 جمعیت از گونه D. kotschyi، سه جمعیت از گونه oligadenium.D، دو جمعیت از گونههای D. ghahremanii و D. lindbergii و یک جمعیت از گونههای D. moldavica و D. subcapitatum براساس تفاوت در 35 صفت از لحاظ کمّی و کیفی بررسی شد. برای شناسایی متغیرترین صفات در بین گونهها، تجزیه به عاملها انجام شد و صفاتی همچون نسبت طول به عرض برگ قاعدهای، شکل برگ راسی و میانی، وجود کرک در برگ و براکته و رنگ جام بیشترین تاثیر مثبت را در جداسازی گونهها داشتند. با استفاده از تجزیه خوشهای به روش Ward، سه خوشه اصلی در دندروگرام مشخص شد. خوشه اول شامل D. moldavica بود که به وضوح از سایر گونهها جدا گردید. خوشه دوم شامل جمعیتهای مختلف D. kotschyi (زیرخوشه a2) و گونههای نزدیک آن یعنی D. subcapitatum و D. ghahremanii (زیرخوشه b2) بود که در این خوشه تفاوت D. ghahremanii از دیگر جمعیتهای D. kotschyi و نزدیک آن به D. subcapitatum تایید شد. خوشه سوم شامل جمعیتهای گونه D. lindbergii (زیرخوشه a3) و جمعیتهای گونه D. oligadenium بود که با توجه به تجزیه و تحلیل خوشهای صفات ریختشناسی، جمعیتهای این گونه از D. kotschyi متمایز و به عنوان گونه مستقل D. oligadenium شناخته شد. در نتیجه بررسی حاضر، تعداد گونههای جنس Dracocephalum در ایران به 11 گونه افزایش یافت. | ||
