[English]
Given the importance of growth traits, when using genomic information and genetic markers to perform genomic assessments at the field level, we will face the high cost of genotyping as a serious problem. Analytical results show that the implementation of genomic evaluations using different levels of MAF through the isolation of higher effective SNPs, as a suitable method of screening SNPs to increase the accuracy of assessment and reduce genotype costs, can be used. In fact, single-step genomic evaluation based on the use of different MAFs can be used as a new model to identify high-impact SNPs and increase the accuracy of estimates. Taken together, the findings of different researchers show that the implementation of genomic evaluations using different amounts of MAF in chicken populations can reduce costs and increase economic productivity. Therefore, in this review, the effect of marker selection groups and different MAF levels to isolate and screen SNPs with higher effect and use these SNPs to perform genomic evaluations were discussed.
