[English]
In order to investigate the the effect of adding different levels of restaurant waste oil in the diet on growth performance, apparent nutrient digestibility, blood and ruminal parameters of fattening Zell lambs from the number of 18 male lambs with an average age of 5.5±0.48 months and initial weight 25±0.4 kg was used in a completely random design for 90 days. Experimental treatments included control treatment (without residual oil) and treatments of 50% and 100% residual oil replacing barley in the diet. The results of growth performance showed that there was a significant difference in dry matter intake, final weight and daily weight gain between experimental treatments (P<0.05). The results of apparent nutrient digestibility showed that the treatment containing 50% waste oil had the highest apparent digestibility of crude protein (P<0.05). By increasing the level of restaurant waste oil to the level of 50%, the blood serum glucose concentration increased significantly (P<0.05). The population of protozoa, the concentration of VFA of the rumen fluid, and acetic and butyric acid were significantly affected by the experimental treatments (P<0.05). The results showed that by increasing the level of waste oil to 100% barley substitute, it had negative effects on some parameters of ruminal fermentation, including a decrease in protozoan population and the concentration of VFA in ruminal fluid. The general results of the present stud showed that the use of 50% level of restaurant waste oil improved dry matter intake, final weight and apparent digestibility of crude protein.
