In order to study the effect of Nitroxin and Nitragin biofertilizers on increasing yield of irrigated wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Cv Chamran, two separate experiments were conducted in the same field in Safiabad Agricultural Research Center of Dezful, during 2009- 2010. The experimental design was randomized complete block with three treatments and four replications. Treatments in the first experiment were: T1- immersing of grain in Nitroxin biofertilizer, T2- immersing of grain in sterile Nitroxin biofertilizer, and T3- without Nitroxin biofertilizer (as control). In the second experiment, tratments included T1- immersing of grain in Nitragin biofertilizer, T2- immersing of grain in sterile Nitragin biofertilizer, and T3- without Nitragin biofertilizer (as control). The results showed that application of Nitroxin and Nitrogin biofertilizers had significant effects on grain and straw yield. The highest yields of grain (5615 and 5667 kg ha-1) and straw (6556and 6565 kg ha-1) were obtained with immersing of grain in Nitroxin and Nitragin biofertilizers (T1). The effect of treatments on the number of grains per spike, the number of spikes per plant, the number of spikes per square meter, and the amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium uptake by grain were significant. The immersing of grain in Nitroxin and Nitragin biofertilizers (T1) increased these indexes as compared with T2 and T3. |
