| کنترل علف‌های هرز چند ساله بدلیل سیستم زیرزمینی گسترده بسیار دشوار است. در این پژوهش که در سال‌‌های 83-1381 صورت گرفت، عوامل اکوفیزیولژیکی مؤثر بر جوانه‌زنی و کاهش جوانه‌زنی ریزوم علف‌هرز شیرین‌بیان بصورت آزمایش‌های جداگانه در خزانه و آزمایشگاه مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که ریزوم‌ها در دمای پایین‌تر از 6 درجه سانتی‌گراد جوانه نزدند و ریزوم‌ها برای جوانه‌زنی به حداقل 154 درجه- روز نیاز داشتند. نیاز حرارتی کل نیز از 50 در‌صد جوانه‌زنی تا برداشت 3549 درجه- روز تعیین شد. نتایج آزمایش کنترل جوانه‌زنی بوسیله یخ آب در چهار سطح دمای انجماد 0، 3- ، 5- و 10- درجه سانتی‌گراد و رطوبت خاک در سه سطح ظرفیت زراعی، غرقاب و خشک در 4 تکرار نشان داد که غرقاب در دمای 5 درجه سانتی‌گراد منجر به کاهش جوانه‌زنی شد و ریزوم‌ها در دمای 3- درجه سانتی‌گراد و پایین‌تر از آن در تمامی سطوح رطوبت خاک جوانه نزدند. در آزمایش تنش خشک‌شدگی در شرایط آزمایشگاهی، ریزوم‌‌هایی که 10 روز در دماهای 25 درجه سانتی‌گراد و بالاتر قرار گرفتند، جوانه نزدند. در کل نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد که امکان کنترل جوانه‌زنی ریزوم شیرین‌بیان با استفاده از روش‌های فیزیکی بصورت آزمایشگاهی وجود دارد. | ||

| Because of their extensive underground structures, control of perennial weeds is very difficult. In this study, factors that influence the germination and control of licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) rhizomes were studied under laboratory and nursery conditions from 2002 to 2004. Results indicated that Glycyrrhiza glabra L. rhizomes buds did not germinated below 6°c. They need at least 154 degree days before they could germinate. Rhizomes were also exposed to low temperatures (5, 0, -3, -5 and -10°c) under submerged, field capacity and dry soil in a factorial design. Results showed that rhizome buds germination decreased under submerged soil at 5°c. Under all soil moisture regimes no rhizome could survive freezing temperature of -3°c and below. In dessication experiments, no buds survived 10 days of desiccation at 25°c and higher. Totally the results of the experiments showed that the control of licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.) rhizomes with physical methods is possible in laboratory conditions. | ||
