| < p>Neospora caninum, a protozoan parasite, causes abortions in cattle, as well as neurological disorders and reproductive problems in dogs. This study aimed to investigate the serological and the molecular prevalence of N.caninum among foxes and dogs using indirect fluorescent antibody test (IFAT) and nested-polymerase chain reaction (PCR). For this purpose, 288 and 95 both fecal and serum samples of dogs and foxes were collected, respectively, from around industrial and traditional dairy flocks in different parts of Sanandaj, Kurdistan Province, Iran, from 2013 to 2015. The sera were examined using IFAT, and fecal samples were microscopically assessed for detecting Neospora oocyst and by nested-PCR. The findings revealed that N.caninum seroprevalence were 4.86% and 4.21% in dogs and foxes, respectively. In addition, no Neospora oocysts were found microscopically and by PCR. Since this study is the first serological and molecular investigation of N.caninum among both dogs and foxes in Sanandaj, the findings of indicated that stray dogs is a main source of N.caninum infection in dairy farms in Sanandaj, Iran. | ||

| < p >نئوسپورا کانینوم انگل تک یاختهای عامل سقط جنین در گاو و اختلالات عصبی و مشکلات تولید مثل در سگها میباشد. سگ سانانی مانند سگها، سگهای وحشی، گرگهای خاکستری و کایوتها در شیوع نئوسپورا کانینوم اهمیت زیادی دارند زیرا که آنها به عنوان میزبان نهایی عمل میکنند و اووسیستها را در محیط منتشر میکنند. لذا یکی از عوامل اصلی ایجاد سقطهای ناشی از نئوسپورا کانینوم در گاو و سایر حیوانات مختلف میزبان واسط از قبیل پستانداران و پرندگان بشمار میآیند. تاکنون در استان کردستان در مورد شیوع نئوسپورا کانینوم در سگ و یا دیگر سگسانان مطالعهای گزارش نشده است. بنابراین هدف اصلی مطالعه حاضر بررسی مولکولی و سرولوژیکی آلودگی به نئوسپورا کانینوم در سگها و روباههای سنندج بوده است. برای این منظور تعداد 288 نمونه مدفوع و سرم سگ و 95 نمونه مدفوع و سرم روباه از مناطق مختلف اطراف گاوداریهای صنعتی و سنتی در بخشهای مختلف استان سنندج استان کردستان در طی سال های 2013 تا 2015 جمع آوری شد. سرمها با استفاده از IFAT مورد بررسی قرار گرفت و نمونههای مدفوع برای تشخیص اووسیست نئوسپورا کانینوم به روش میکروسکوپی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که شیوع سرمی نئوسپورا کانینوم در سگها و روباهها به ترتیب 4.86٪ و 4.21٪ است. ولی در آزمایش میکروسکوپی مدفوع اووسیست نئوسپورا کانینوم و با روش nested-PCR مورد مثبت یافت نشد. این تحقیق اولین آزمایش سرولوژیک و مولکولی نئوسپورا کانینوم در سگ سنندج و روباه ایران است، نتایج نشان داد که سگهای ولگرد میتوانند منبع اصلی عفونت نئوسپورا کانینوم در اطراف مزارع پرورش گاو سنندج باشند. برای تایید بیشتر این موضوع مطالعات بیشتری بر روی جنینهای سقطی یا گاوهای سقط کرده توصیه میشود. | ||
