چکیده
شمشاد (Buxus hyrcana) از مهم ترین و باارزش ترین گونه های درختی پهن برگ و همیشه سبز جنگل های شمال کشور محسوب می شود. مشاهدات حاکی از بروز خشکیدگی این درخت بر اثر دو قارچ عامل بلایت (Cylindrocladium buxicola و Calonectria pseudonaviculata) و آفت شب پره شمشاد (Cydalima perspectalis) در بسیاری از رویشگاه های آن است. تأثیر خشکیدگی و از بین رفتن درختان بر استمرار بقای توده های شمشاد موضوعی است که باید به دقت بررسی شود؛ زیرا کاهش تعداد نمونه های هر گونه ای با تأثیر بر تنوع و تمایز ژنتیکی باعث بروز فرسایش ژنتیکی در آن گونه می شود. تنوع و تمایز ژنتیکی جمعیتهای شمشاد در مؤسسه تحقیقات جنگلها و مراتع کشور به وسیله مطالعه الگوی پروتئین های کل برگ درختان و پروتئین های ذخیره ای بذر درختان بررسی شد. نتایج این پژوهش نشان داد که با وجود خشکیدگی تعداد زیادی از درختان شمشاد، جمعیت های مختلف آن از تنوع قابل ملاحظه ای برخوردار هستند. با وجود تنوع ژنتیکی قابل ملاحظه جمعیتهای شمشاد، اما تمایز جمعیت های درختان با نتاجشان متفاوت است. این مسئله می تواند ناشی از قطعه قطعه شدن زیستگاه شمشاد خزری باشد. بررسیهای میدانی رویشگاه های شمشاد نیز نشان می دهد که وسعت جمعیت های آن کاهش یافته و به صورت ایزوله درآمده است. در چنین شرایطی جمع آوری انتخابی بذر از بعضی جمعیت ها برای برنامه های حفاظتی و جنگل کاری، می تواند باعث از دست رفتن برخی ژنها شده و ساختار ژنتیکی جمعیت های آینده را تغییر دهد. بنابراین انتخاب تعداد محدود جمعیت برای بذرگیری یا تجدید حیات در آینده می تواند در درازمدت منجر به فرسایش ژنتیکی جمعیتها شود. لذا توصیه می شود نهادهای اجرایی مسئول احیای رویشگاه های شمشاد به جمع آوری از اکوتیپ های محلی توجه ویژه ای داشته باشند.

Boxwood (Buxus hyrcana) is the most important and valuable broadleaf and evergreen tree species of Hyrcanian forests. Dieback of Box trees caused by boxwood Blight (Cylindrocladium buxicola) and boxwood moth (Cydalima perspectalis) continues to be reported in the Caspian forest. The impact of trees dieback on the survival of boxwood masses is a subject that needs to be carefully investigated since the reduced number of species causes genetic erosion through influencing genetic diversity and differentiation. The genetic diversity and differentiation of box trees and their progenies were studied along Hyrcanian forests by the Research Institute of Forests and Rangeland using total protein and seed storage protein markers. Results indicated that despite the dieback of large parts of boxwood, different populations showed considerable
genetic diversity. Despite the considerable genetic variation of the boxwood populations, the differentiation of trees was different from their offspring. These results can be attributed to the fragmentation of the boxwood habitat. Field surveys shows that the size of the boxwood population is decreased and isolated. In this kind of circumstances, selective seed collection from some populations for conservation and reforestation programs can cause the loss of some genes and alter the genetic structure of future populations. Therefore, the selection of a limited population for seed collection or  regeneration can lead to genetic erosion of populations in the future. Therefore, it is recommended that a special attention be paid to the seed collection from local ecotypes by the organizations responsible for the restoration of boxwood habitats.
