| Tomato leaf miner, Tuta absoluta (Meyrick) is a key and dangerous pest of Solanaceous plants in Iran. Larvae of the pest cause damage on different parts of host plants including leaves, stems, and fruits. In this study, the oviposition and host plant finding of tomato leaf miner on four important plants of Solanaceae including tomato, potato, eggplant, and pepper were investigated at laboratory conditions. Based on the results, mean egg numbers of the pest on the leaves of tomato, potato, eggplant and pepper were 32.20, 17.20, 6.40, and 3.00, respectively, which were the highest on tomato and the lowest on eggplant and pepper. Furthermore, the mean egg numbers of the pest on the upper surface of the leaves of tomato was the highest in compar with the other treatments. According to the olfactometer test, host plant finding of the females was the highest on tomato. So, tomato was the most preferred host plant for the adult moths among the tested host plants. The results of the present study can be used in integrated pest management programs of this pest. | ||

| شب‌پره مینوز گوجهفرنگی (Meyrick) Tuta absoluta یکی از آفات کلیدی و خطرناک گیاهان تیره بادمجانیان در ایران است. لاروهای این آفت به قسمت‌های مختلف هوایی گیاه میزبان از جمله برگ، ساقه و میوه خسارت می‌زنند. در تحقیق حاضر میزان تخم‌ریزی و میزبان‌یابی شب‌پره مینوزگوجه‌‌فرنگی روی چهار گیاه مهم از تیره بادمجانیان شامل گوجهفرنگی، سیب‌زمینی، بادمجان و فلفل در شرایط آزمایشگاهی مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. بر اساس نتایج به دست آمده، میانگین تعداد تخم آفت روی برگ گوجهفرنگی، سیب‌زمینی، بادمجان و فلفل به ترتیب برابر با 20/32، 20/17، 40/6 و 00/3 عدد بود که بیشترین میزان تخم‌ریزی در گوجه فرنگی و کمترین مقدار آن در بادمجان و فلفل بود. هم‌چنین، میانگین تعداد تخم روی سطح روئی برگ گوجه فرنگی نسبت به سایر تیمارها بیشتر بود. براساس نتایج حاصل از روش بویایی‌سنجی، میزبان‌یابی شب‌پره‌های ماده روی گوجهفرنگی بیشتر از سایر میزبان‌ها بود. بنابراین، در این بررسی گوجهفرنگی به عنوان مرجح ترین میزبان گیاهی برای حشرات کامل این شب‌پره در بین گیاهان مورد آزمایش بود. نتایج تحقیق حاضر می‌تواند در برنامه‌های مدیریت تلفیقی این آفت مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. | ||
