For evaluating the effect of buildings, equipment 150 of 890 active broiler farms were selected using random classified sampling with appropriate assignment method. Data collection was taken place in two stages, before and after education. The average benefit per chick in the total farms and in the 5 capacities: 10-25, 25-50, 50-75, 75-100 and above 100 thousands were 2112, 3000, 8180, 1270, -2100 and -1450 Rials respectively. Income of farms with steep-sided constructional type was more than other constructional type farms (p<0.053). The correlation coefficient between reduction of mortalities and education was high (r= 0.61) and significant (p<0.01). In this study, the buildings and installations were classified on the basis of three groups (Group one: barrel vault with old materials and brick, Group two: two sided steep with iron sheet or asbestos cement, Group three: sided-steep with iron sheet or asbestos cement). For the first group, the average benefit in 5 capacities 2235, - 740, 1961, 2416, 3560 and 4211 Rials respectively. FC ratio was 2.78, 1.92, 1.9, 2.35, 2.12 and 2.09 respectively. For the second group, the average benefit per chick in whole poultry farms and in 5 capacities 4515, 1423, 8376, 6525, 7035 and 7325 Rials respectively. Feed conversion ratio was 2.24, 1.99, 2.21, 2.01, 1.9 and 1.89 respectively. For the third group, the average benefit per chick in whole poultry farms and in 5 capacities 855, 1237, 2235, 1211, 4511 and 6211 Rials respectively. Feed conversion ratio was 2.45, 2.23, 2.34, 2.11, 2.35 and 2.08 respectively. |
