| چکیده | ||
| در طی آزمایش رکتال یک راس گاو 5 ساله و آبستن، یک توده مهبلی با چندین کانون برآمده ملامسه شد و بعد از زایمان با استفاده از روش جراحی از مهبل خارج گردید. نمونه های بافتی این توده در فرمالین بافر 10 درصد قرار داده شد. پس از پایدار شدن نمونهها، آمادهسازی بافت و تهیه قالبهای پارافینی، برش هایی به ضخامت 5 میکرومتر گرفته شده و به روش های هماتوکسیلین – ائوزین و اختصاصی رنگآمیزی شدند. از نظر ماکروسکوپی، این توده دارای دو سطح محدب و صاف بود که در سطح محدب آن چندین کانون برآمده وجود داشت و سطح صاف آن، زخمی شده بود. در سطح مقطع، توده توپر فاقد کپسول و به رنگ سفید تا خاکستری بود که نواحی زرد رنگ نیز در آن مشاهده شد. در مطالعه میکروسکوپی توده، سلول های توموری گرد تا دوکی شکل پلئومورف مشاهده شد که دارای آرایش نامنظم بودند. مرز سیتوپلاسمی این سلول ها نامشخص بود و هسته آنها دارای هستک های مشخص بود. بقایای سلول های نکروزه و نفوذ سلول های آماسی در سطح صاف توده توموری و اطراف پرگنه های باکتریایی مشاهده شد. همچنین در مقاطع مختلف تومور، بافت همبند منتشره به صورت دسته جات در هم بافته شده وجود داشت.بر اساس خصوصیات ماکروسکوپی و میکروسکوپی، این توده لیومیوسارکوم مهبل تشخیص داده شد. بر اساس دانش نویسندگان مقاله، هیچ گزارشی در مورد وقوع لیومیوسارکوم در مهبل گاو از ایران وجود ندارد. | ||

| During rectal examination of a 5-year-old pregnant cow, a single multinodular vaginal mass was palpated and removed surgically after the parturition. Tissue samples of the mass were fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin, paraffin-embedded, sectioned at 5 μm, and stained with hematoxylin – eosin and special stains.Grossly, the mass had two convex and flat surfaces. Multiple firm nodular masses and ulcers were observed in convex and flat surfaces, respectively. On cut section, the tumor was solid, nonencapsulated and gray-white with small yellowish foci. Histological examination of the mass revealed round to spindle cells with cellular and nuclear pleomorphism that arranged haphazardly. The tumor cells had indistinguishable cytoplasmic borders and prominent nucleoli. Necrotic debris and infiltration of inflammatory cells around bacterial colonies were seen in the tumor flat surface. There was diffuse fibrous connective tissue arranged in interwoven fascicles in different sections of the tumor too. According to macroscopic and microscopic features, the mass was diagnosed as vaginal leiomyosarcoma. To our knowledge, there is no report about occurrence of vaginal leiomyosarcoma in cow from Iran. | ||
