| سازة شیبشکن از جمله سازه‌های هیدرولیکی است که در تثبیت بستر رودخانه کاربرد زیادی دارد؛ آبشستگی موضعی پاییندست آن عامل اصلی تخریب سازه است. مطالعات زیاد در این خصوص به ارائة روابط متعددی برای پیشبینی عمق حفرة آبشستگی انجامیده است. نتایج به دست آمده همواره برای طراحان این نگرانی را به وجود آورده که برای طراحی، کدام رابطه دقت بیشتری دارد. در این تحقیق از طریق ساخت مدل فیزیکی، آزمایش برای جت مستغرق، با سه نوع دانهبندی (5/1، 4/2، و 1/3 میلیمتر) در پاییندست سرریز و با دبی‌هایی شامل 10، 15، 20 لیتر بر ثانیه به اجرا درآمد. برای تحلیل دادهها و رگرسیون چند متغیره گروه‌های بدون بعد، از نرمافزار Minitab استفاده شد. با استفاده از داده‌های اندازه‌گیری شده، دقت پیشبینی عمق آبشستگی با تعدادی از روابط موجود مقایسه شد. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که رابطه‌های پیشنهادی ورنس A، میسون و آروموگام، آگوستینو و فررو، و چی و پادیار دقیق‌ترند. علاوه بر این، رابطه‌ای جدید پیشنهاد شد که با مقایسه شاخصهای ضریب همبستگی (94% R=) و جذر متوسط مربعات خطا (015/0 RMSE=)، نتایج بهتری ارائه می‌دهد. | ||

| Estimation of Scour Depth Downstream of Grade-Control Structures | ||

| Grade control structures are hydraulic structures used to stabilize a river bed. Scour downstream of this structure is the main cause of its failure. Studies have developed numerous empirical relations for scour depth prediction that designers must choose between to decide the most effective equation for a specific application. This study tested the condition of submerged jets over beds of sediments (median size = 1.5, 2.4, 3.15 mm) downstream of a weir for discharges of 10, 15, 20 l/sec and tail water depths of 16, 21, 26 cm. The analysis applied multi-dimensionless group regression using Minitab software to predict maximum scour depth. All previous relations were compared to the data and it was found that the relations developed by Veronese A, Mason and Arumugam, Agostino and Ferro, and Chee and Padiyar predict the scour depth better than do other relations. In addition, a new relation was developed that produced better results at RMSE = 0.015 and coefficient correlation = 94%. | ||
